Is Liposuction an Outpatient Procedure?
Liposuction does not require an extended stay in the hospital. In fact, most people are able to leave our office shortly after the completion of their procedure. New York City liposuction surgeon Dr. Basil Pakeman utilizes advanced liposuction techniques and technology to minimize trauma and reduce surgical risks. These steps also help ensure hospital stays are not required for our liposuction patients.
If you live in the Manhattan area and are considering liposuction, please call Dr. Pakeman at (212) 308-1566 to schedule your consultation and learn more.
Recovery from liposuction is different for every person, but by and large you should expect to take a few days off of work and to avoid strenuous activities for two to three weeks. While an outpatient procedure, liposuction is still a surgery and care needs to be taken postoperatively to help protect your safety and ensure pleasing results. During your initial consultation and ongoing throughout your time in our care, Dr. Pakeman will discuss recovery and how best you can prepare to make yours smooth and uneventful.
If you live in or around New York City and have been considering liposuction surgery, please contact Manhattan Surgical Care online or by calling 212-308-1566 to schedule your consultation today.
